CARE & PERFORMANCE GUIDE: 999 PURE SILVER

999 Silver is not inert like quartz. It is a living, reactive metal. It is designed to be soft.

🟢 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE: OXYGEN & TARNISH

Oxidation is natural. Your silver may look white or dull grey over time. This is not hazardous, but it slightly decreases thermal conductivity.

Remove oxidation in minutes:

OPTION A: The Deep Clean (Recommended)

Scrub: Gently scrub for 5–10 seconds with a thick paste of baking soda and water.
Neutralize: A quick vinegar wash to remove baking soda residue.
Rinse: Thoroughly rinse with water.

OPTION B: The Quick Polish

Gently scrub for 5–10 minutes with a dedicated soft polishing cloth.

🔴 DEEP CLEANING: SULFUR REMOVAL

Sulfur is a lung irritant. Silver reacts instantly to sulfur compounds, turning dark black even at warm temperatures (300°F–400°F).

Because there are no legal limits for sulfur in concentrates, it is difficult to know if you are consuming these invisible compounds. Your silver pearls act as a detector.

How to Reset Your Silver:

⚠️ WARNING: VENTILATION REQUIRED

Perform this step in a well-ventilated space or outdoors.

Heat Cleaning: Heat the silver to 800°F–1000°F. This will vaporize any mechanically adhered sulfur or carbon.
Cool & Polish: This high heat will oxidize the metal. Allow it to cool completely, then polish using the "Routine Maintenance" steps above.

Silver is extremely thermally efficient. It amplifies heat, so you do not need the same temperatures you use for quartz.

Average Operating Temp: 400°F (Sweet Spot)
MAXIMUM Temp: 550°F

STOP: Never exceed 550°F during active use. High heat amplifies negative effects.
